Consultant MSK Physiotherapist
I graduated in 2010 and started working as an MSK physiotherapist. I completed a PGDip in MSK Medicine in 2015 and was awarded the Saunders’ and Kesson’s Prize for my achievements.
In 2016, I began working as an Extended Scope Practitioner in MCATS clinics across North Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, and Worcestershire. I also completed a Diploma in Injection Therapy.
I completed an Independent and Supplementary Prescribing course in 2017 and began working as a Consultant MSK Physiotherapist in Shropshire.
In 2018, I began an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice to extend my practice into Primary Care Medicine.
I joined a Forum of First Contact Practitioner (FCP) Leads in West Midlands for Health Education England in 2019 to support the development and implementation of FCP roles.
Additionally, I started working in Wolverhampton as a Primary Care Advanced Clinical Practitioner and Primary Care Network MSK Lead. I manage an MSK service across three Primary Care Networks supporting over 160 000 patients.
In 2020, I became a member of the Advisory Committee for Primary Care Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Medicine.
Furthermore, I began a collaboration with Wolverhampton University and become a visiting lecturer in 2021. I have been involved in the development of FCP and MSK Services across Wolverhampton. During my daily practice, I conduct consultations tackling various medical problems. I also support a local Vulnerable Adult Home Visiting Service for frail and housebound patients.
