My special interests are in the field of general adult psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, and old age psychiatry.
I have extensive experience in managing a whole spectrum of psychiatric disorders such as depression, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, bipolar affective disorder, and schizophrenia.
I also work with patients in a holistic manner with a biopsychosocial approach to help them manage the psychological consequences of chronic physical illnesses, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and health anxiety.
I am also a Consultant Psychiatrist at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. I am registered with General Medical Council for general adult psychiatry, old age psychiatry with an endorsement for consultation and liaison psychiatry. I am recognized under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act as having special experience in the assessment and treatment of mental disorders.
